One of the key things to remember before you leave for vacation is to establish a temporary security system pass code for friends, family or contractors that you may have entering your home while you are away. By doing this, you are allowing them temporary access to your home without giving away your personal alarm information. These temporary codes can be set up for just the duration of your vacation, giving you the piece of mind that when you return home, only you will be able to arm and disarm your security system.
