Dial One Security, Inc was founded in 1979 by John Lindberg after graduating from The Ohio State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Originally founded under the name Dial One General Electronic Security, in 2008 the name was changed with the State of Ohio to General Electronic Security, Inc. dba Dial One Security, Inc.
Dial One Security is locally owned and operated and serves the Greater Cincinnati Area. Our offices have been located in the Cincinnati Suburb of Madisonville since 1989. The company owns and operates it’s own UL Listed Central Station, located in the Cincinnati suburb of Price Hill. The central station provides our clients with monitoring of residential and commercial security and fire alarms along with elevator monitoring.

John founded Dial One Security in 1979 and has grown the company into one of Cincinnati’s largest local security companies. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He oversees the operation of Dial One Security as well as our central station monitoring facility.

Dennis has been with Dial One Security since 1989. He manages the sales department and is responsible for commercial sales of security and fire alarms as well as camera and access control systems. He holds an Ohio Fire License.

Rob has been with Dial One Security since 1998 and manages our purchasing and technical support. He actively oversees the central station operation and serves as a part time fireman for the City of Reading.

Mike has been with Dial One Security since 2005 and has over 30 years in the security business. after years in the installation department, Mike has recently joined the sales team to oversee system upgrades and monitoring conversions.

Vince joined Dial One Security in 1997 and is responsible for residential sales. His knowledge of home security systems allows him to provide the client with the appropriate security to meet their needs without high pressure sales tactics.

Cynthia oversees our Customer Service Department and Technician Scheduling. Cynthia’s ability to manage multiple responsibilities ensures that the client’s systems are installed, serviced and programmed on time.

Valerie is part of the Customer Service Team responsible for the Receivables and Payables to make sure that our client’s accounts are current and our vendors are paid on time.

We install advanced security camera systems incorporating Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs). Our security camera systems can use Video Analytics to detect unwanted behaviors with either analog cameras or networked IP Cameras.
Dial One Security can install access control systems to provide tracking and control of entry into commercial buildings. The access control systems can control who can access which door when and provide automatic locking and unlocking of a facility. Dial One can also provide installation and service fire alarm systems , fire sprinkler monitoring, and elevator monitoring.
